Benefits of the Healing Sacrifice

Sacrifice is a means of asking Allah for healing. Sacrificing a sacrifice for a sick person invokes Allah's mercy and compassion. The sacrifice is made in honor of Allah's name Shafii. Shafii, one of the names of Allah, means "healer". Since the sacrifice is slaughtered in honor of Allah's name Shafii, it is easier for the sick person to be cured. The meat of the sacrifice is distributed to those in need to help them. Distributing the meat of the Shifa sacrifice to those in need provides them with material and spiritual support.

Meat of the Healing Sacrifice

The distribution of the meat of the Shifa sacrifice depends on the choice of the slaughterer. It can be eaten with family and relatives, or it can be distributed to the needy. It is more virtuous to distribute it to the needy. In particular, charity to the students of the Holy Qur'an is the best charity.
