Water... The essence of life, the common heritage of humanity... Every drop is hope, every flow is life. As ILA Association, we are honored to make another dream come true in our journey of service to humanity. Hz. Khadija Common Water Well, which was built in Mumias village of Kakamega province, one of the rural areas of Kenya, was put into the service of the village people.

A Water Well from Hearts Sharing Goodness

This meaningful water well came to life with the meeting of different hearts in the same goodness. Named after Hazrat Khadija, one of the pioneers of Islamic history, the epitome of sacrifice and grace, this project was completed with the joint prayer and support of philanthropists who walked in her footsteps. Our well was installed to provide clean and safe drinking water to the people of the village. And now the village of Mumias is stronger and more hopeful against the challenges of thirst.

Emotional Moments at the Opening Ceremony

On the opening day, there was joy and excitement in the village. Women, children and the elderly enjoyed the peace of having access to water in a few steps. There were smiles on faces and gratitude in eyes. The ceremony was attended by representatives of ILA Association, local officials and the people of the village. With prayers and sincere thanks, it was felt that the well was not just a structure but a work of kindness that unites hearts.

Water: A Drop of Life, A Path of Hope

In many parts of Kenya, access to clean water still requires walking for kilometers. Especially for women and children, this is a huge burden in terms of time and health. The Hazrat Khadija Shared Water Well has alleviated this burden, saving health, cleanliness and time. Now children will grow up healthier, women will be able to use their time more efficiently, and families will be able to live their lives with clean water.

A Kindness Flowing from Heart to Heart

We sincerely thank all our benefactors who contributed to this project. Each donation became hope like a drop of mercy falling on thirsty soil. This jointly opened water well was one of the best examples of doing good together and keeping alive together.

Let us not forget: A water well is not just water; it is a village full of life.
