As the ILA Association, during this blessed season when we experience the spirit of mutual aid and solidarity in its purest form, we have completed our preparations for the 2026 obligatory sacrifice program with the utmost care. We have managed every step of the process with professional diligence to ensure that the donations entrusted to us by our donors reach those in need in full compliance with Islamic principles and hygiene standards.
The Strategic Planning Process and Professional Preparation
Wajib Sacrifice
As Eid al-Adha approaches, we have set out this year—as we do every year—by strengthening our operational capacity. As part of our 2026 Eid al-Adha planning process, we have focused not only on the full implementation of religious guidelines but also on environmental responsibility, animal welfare, and high hygiene standards.
We have implemented not just a slaughtering operation, but also a distribution system designed to bring abundance to the tables of families in need. To this end, we have developed logistics plans to ensure the distribution of sacrificial meat is carried out as fairly and efficiently as possible.
Rigorous Animal Sourcing and Veterinary Inspections
- Compliance with Islamic Standards: Healthy animals, raised in accordance with religious rules and the principle of respect for animals, have been carefully selected.
- Medical Inspections: All selected sacrificial animals were inspected by licensed veterinarians, and health and hygiene certification was obtained.
- Animal Welfare: All necessary measures have been implemented to ensure that animals do not experience stress during transport and holding periods and that their welfare is maintained.
Hygienic Processing and Coordinated Distribution Network
After the sacrifice, it is of utmost importance that the meat is properly processed in a hygienic environment. To this end, we have collaborated with facilities that have the necessary equipment and vehicles for meat processing.
We establish a planned distribution system to deliver processed meat to those in need in the shortest time and in the healthiest way possible. Working in coordination with aid organizations and neighborhood mukhtars, we ensure that the meat is distributed fairly and with priority given to those in need.
Sacrifice: A Spiritual Bridge of Solidarity
The charitable contributions made during Eid al-Adha are more than just financial support; they are a spiritual force that strengthens the bonds of love, respect, and compassion within our community. Every bite shared builds an unbreakable bridge of goodwill between people of different income levels.
As the İLA Association, we would like to thank our team for their efforts throughout the entire process—from procurement to inspection, and from slaughter to distribution—as well as all our donors who have placed their trust in us.
