Giving charity on the days of Eid is an opportunity to get closer to Allah, to have sins forgiven and to gain blessings.
The Prophet (PBUH) said. " Protect yourself from the Fire, even if it is half of a date (by giving it in charity) ." (Muslim, Zakat, 66)
