Delivery and Performance Policy
This text explains how donations made through iladernegi.org are distributed to those in need, at what stages the donor is informed, and how the receipt is sent.
1. How Does Your Donation Get There?
When you make a donation to the ILA Association, no physical product is sent to the donor. In return for your donation, the aid item you select is delivered to those in need. The process consists of the following steps:
- Donation Processing: As soon as your payment is approved, your donation will be recorded, and you will receive a donation summary via email.
- Planning: Your donation will be incorporated into the field schedule of the relevant aid program.
- Delivery: Aid is delivered to those in need through our field teams or local partners.
- Note: The donor will be notified once the donation has been processed.
2. Sacrificial Donations
- Countries where slaughter takes place: Africa and Eurasia
- Slaughter period: Obligatory sacrifices are performed during the days of Eid al-Adha. Sacrifices made as vows, akika, for healing, in gratitude, and supererogatory sacrifices may be performed throughout the year; slaughter typically takes place within 24 hours, and no later than 36 hours, after the donation is received.
- Distribution of meat: The meat from the sacrificed animal is distributed to needy families in the region on behalf of the donor; no meat is sent to the donor.
- Notification: The donor is notified via WhatsApp when the donation is processed.
3. Other Assistance Categories
- Food packages, iftar meals, sahur meals, and Eid gifts: These are distributed as part of the field program for the relevant period. Ramadan-related activities are carried out during the month of Ramadan.
- Water well: Well drilling, along with a site survey and depending on seasonal conditions, is completed within an average of 3–4 months. Upon completion, the donor is sent photos, a video, and location information about the well.
- Education, memory sponsorship, bridge of hearts: Support is provided regularly throughout the student’s academic year. The sponsorship period is specified in the donation details: options include 6 months, 12 months, or monthly renewals until you cancel.
- Health, godparent, sapling, climate: These will be carried out according to the field schedule of the relevant project.
- Zakat, sadaqah, fidyah, and Ashura: The funds collected are distributed to those in need in accordance with the relevant fiqh guidelines.
4. Notification and Receipt
- Once your payment is approved, a donation summary will be sent via email to the address you provided during the donation process.
- Your donation receipt, issued in accordance with the Fundraising Law No. 2860, will be prepared and sent to you via email.
- If address information is required for your receipt request, we will contact you after your donation.
5. Time Frames and Exceptional Circumstances
The timeframe for delivering aid may vary depending on the security situation in the target region, weather and road conditions, customs and local permitting processes, and seasonal conditions. Donations that cannot be delivered within the estimated timeframe will not be refunded; with the donor’s approval, they will be transferred to the next phase of the same program or to a similar aid initiative.
In extraordinary circumstances such as earthquakes, floods, epidemics, and conflicts, our Association reserves the right to direct donations toward the most urgent needs while preserving the nature of the donation.
