Ramiz and Hatice Gündoğdu Water Well Opened in Kenya
Access to clean water is one of the most basic necessities for sustaining life. As the ILA Association, with the support of our donors, we continue to bring hope to communities in various parts of the world that face water shortages. As part of this effort, the water well built in the names of Ramiz and Hatice Gündoğdu has been completed in Kenya and made available to the local community.
The Joy of Clean Water in Mumias Village
The water well dug in the village of Mumias, located in Kenya’s Kakamega region, was a vital necessity for families who had struggled for many years to access clean and safe drinking water. Thanks to the completed project, the villagers can now go about their daily lives under healthier and safer conditions.
With the water well now in operation, the burden on women and children of carrying water over long distances has been significantly reduced. This has not only prevented a loss of time but also improved the quality of life for the region’s residents.
Joy and Prayers Came Together at the Opening Ceremony
The well’s inauguration took place with strong participation from the local community. Children and families, overjoyed at finally having access to clean water, expressed their gratitude, and prayers were offered for the project to bring blessings.
The joy that followed the moment the water first began to flow once again highlighted the positive impact of such projects on communities in need.

A Lasting Act of Kindness
The Ramiz and Hatice Gündoğdu Water Well is not merely a source of water; it has also become a meaningful example of solidarity, sharing, and service to humanity. This project, which provides the local community with access to clean water, will continue to touch the lives of thousands of people for years to come.
As the ILA Association, we would like to thank our valued donors for supporting this worthwhile project; we would also like to remind everyone once again that every contribution makes a lasting difference in the lives of those in need.
Because every well that is dug does more than just quench thirst; it also brings health, hope, and new opportunities for the future.
